Happy New Year Troop 437!

As we face 2010 there are a number of items coming up to be aware of:

- The Troop is in the midst of a very active recruiting cycle. We are receiving visits from perspective new scouts and their parents at almost every meeting and event. Please continue to extend warm welcomes to our visitors and help address any questions they may have.

It looks like Mother Nature will be helping us out this weekend with nice temperatures and lots of snow for our Winter Freeze out at Camp Resolute in Bolton. We will also be hosting perspective new scouts on Saturday afternoon as part of our Winter Webelos Invitational event.

The Winter Court of Honor is scheduled for January 28th. This is one of the three times during the year that we recognize the scout's achievements. If scouts have merit badges that are completed they need to record these in the advancement log by January 14th.

The district Merit Badge College is fast approaching. the MBC is a two day event that allows scouts to work on merit badges from many different areas. This is a great opportunity for scouts to work on advancement and get the ability to work on merit badges that may otherwise not be offered.

This Thursday is the last night to turn in your permission slips for the New York trip. Please bring your completed slips and the needed payment to the cookie dough distribution between 5pm and 6pm.

Cookie Dough pickup night for those Scouts that sold Cookie Dough. Please come to the Legion between 5 pm and 6 pm to pickup your Cookie Dough and deliver it to your eager customers.
