Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to?  or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

 
Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting!  Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.
 
We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session.  Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road.  Feel free to contact us at info@westfordtroop437.us and let us know you are coming or to contact us with any questions.  For more information about the troop, you can start at our About Us webpage.

Bicycle Safety Inspection and Tune-up instruction - Tonight's Troop Meeting - Bring you bike and helmet!

Please bring your bicycle AND helmet to the Troop meeting on May 18th. We will have help from someone from a bike store (Pedal Power in Acton) to assist with a bicycle safety inspection. This is to prepare the bikes for our June trip, and  provide a  start on Cycling Merit Badge!

Tonight's meeting (May 11th) will be held at East Boston Camps/Stony Brook Conservation Land

Tonights meeting will be held at East Boston Camps. Scouts will be completing an orienteering course.  
 
When: May 1th, 7:00pm
Where: East Boston Camps at the fire pit near the baseball field.
  • Class As are not required tonight.
  • Bring flashlight, bug spray and appropriate layers.

7th Annual Bike Sale a Huge Success!

Congratulations Troop 437! 

We had another successful Bike & Spring Sports Sale on Saturday & raised over $3,300 to help fund Troop 437 activities ...
 
Your Scout & family efforts made it happen -- THANK YOU.
 
We sold lots of bikes and saw lots of happy faces on young kids as the sat astride their new purchases!

Summer Camp Sign-ups now being collected. Sign-ups due - please submit remaining signups now

Summer is fast approaching and it is time to start thinking abut summer camp!

 Troop Week is Sunday, July 30 through Saturday, August 5. Camp fee for the week with early deposit is $386. Our payment schedule is as follows:

  •  2017 Crossover Scouts only - Please pay the $386 payment by Thursday, May 18th, no early deposit required.

  • Returning Scouts - $50 deposit per Scout is due to the Troop by Thursday, March 23rd. The remaining $336 is due by Thursday, May 18th. Note for Returning Scouts only – If you do not pay the early deposit and wish to attend camp, the full fee will be $445.00, so please take advantage of the early discount.

Please make checks payable to “Troop 437”. This is not refundable but is transferable if another Scout is available to take your place.

Something new this year:   Every Scout attending camp will receive the New England Adventure Card from the Spirit of Adventure Council.

The card provides each Scout a discounted camp rate as well as discounts for other Council activities and access to other Council resources.

Please include an e-mail address and phone number to be used for the card registration of your Scout.

Troop 437 Annual Bike Sale - This Saturday - Need help Friday evening and Saturday during the day

Our annual Bike and Sporting Goods sale is the Troop's biggest fund raiser.  It is only possible through lots of work by Troop members.  All scouts are asked to attend to help out.  We also need adults to help out. We need Troop members to come out Friday evening and Saturday during the day to help run the event.

Friday evening we are collecting items for the sale the the Legion Hall.  Saturday is more collection time and the actul sale.  Saturday's events are held on the Westford Common.

Specificly we need volunteers for the following activities:

This Fri Apr 28, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ the 437 Legion:

  • Donations
  • Consignments   
  • Bike Prep

This Sat Apr 29, 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Westford Common:    

  • Donations
  • Consignments
  • Area Setup  
This Sat Apr 29, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM @ Westford Common:
  • Customer Service
  • Customer Checkout

This Sat Apr 29, 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Westford Common:

  • Consignor Pickup
  • Cleanup

Please come to this week's troop meeting prepared to sign-up for one of these time slots.  If you are not going to be at the troop meeting please e-mail Mr. Parr at bikesale@westfordtroop437.us and let him know when you would like to help out.
