Just a reminder that we have adjusted our calendar for a number of events.  We have delayed by a week of the advancement deadline, the January PLC meeting, and the Winter Court of Honor.  The new dates are listed below and have been updated on the troop website.

The Gilford Youth Center is allowing us to stay overnight for no charge so we’d like to give back to them by collecting food for their Gilford Got Lunch program.   Please bring an item from the list provided below and so the Troop can make a donation to the center.

Below are items they have indicated they can use for their program:

Peanut Butter
Canned tuna/chicken
Mayonnaise
Canned Vegetables
Jelly
Spaghetti and Spaghetti Sauce
Chicken noodle soup
Canned Fruit

 Our Philmont crew filled in record time.  It is great that we have so many enthusiastic scouts eager to experience Philmont.  If you want to go and didn't get a slot please fill out a sign-up sheet and submit it to Mr. Reilly and you will be added to the wait list.  Deposits are not needed to be submitted for waitlist. 

Philmont 2016 is ON!  Sign-up now.   The experience of a lifetime!  That is how a trek through Philmont is frequently described. Troop 437 will be sending a crew to Philmont in July 2016.  Sign-ups are now open and slots will be filled out first-come, first serve. This week's troop meeting will be our annual End-of-Year bonfire.  This is held in the lower field behind the Legion building.  Make sure to wear appropriate clothing, footwear, and bring a flashlight. Hot chocolate will be served so be sure to bring your camp mug.  There are sure to be lots of games.
