Tonight is the Troop's Spring Court of Honor.  The troop will be recognizing scouts for the achievments they have earned.  Scouts should wear class-A uniforms and parents are encouraged to attend.  This will be the last troop meeting for the year.  Next Thursday the youth leaders of the troop will meet to plan out next year's program.

Please return all troop equipment to tonight's meeting.  It is important for us to get the eqiupment back so that it can be prepared for use at summer camp.  Equipment can be delivered to the front of the shed in stead of bringing it up to the meeting hall.

Next Tuesday is Flag day and the American Legion will be hosting its annual flag retirement ceremony.  The Legion has asked for troop members to help with the service.  This is a Class A activity.  The service starts at 6:00pm.

At this week's meeting we will be taking advantage of the Legion's waterfront.   We will be swimming and canoeing/Kyacking.  If you have a canoe or kayack please bring it, along with PFDs.  Scouts should come in bathing suits.  After a short portiont of the meeting focused on preparing for this weekend's trip we will spend the remainder of the meeting at the waterfront.  Scouts that want to use the boats or swim in deeper water must have passed a BSA swim test in the last year - tests at sumemr's camp qualify.
