If you have troop equipment from last week's trip or from a prior event please return the equipment to this week's troop meeting.  As this is our last scheduled meeting of the year it is important to get the equipment back now so that we can prepare for summer camp.

The advancement deadline for the June Court of honor is May 30th.  Please make sure you record all your advancement in the advancemenet book on or before that date.

The June campout will be a Sea Kayaking trip on the PArker River and Great Marsh in Yarmouth MA.  The trip will be on June 8th and 9th.  The complete details and signup forms will be published shortly.

This announcement is about 2014 summer camp - not this year's summer camp

Troop 437 traditionary attends summer camp the same week each year - that being the week that straddles July and August - "Week 5" in Wah-Tut-Ca terminology.  However, looking forward to 2014 the troop has secured a slot to send a crew to the BSA Philmont High Adventure base during that same week.  To avoid a conflict the Troop Committee has decided to move the Troop's 2014 Wah-Tut-Ca week to either Week 3 (July 13th - 19th) or Week 2 (July 6th - 12th).  We will not know which week we are able to reserve until September of this year but wanted to give everyone a heads up as we know this may impact future plans your families may be making.

The Troop's bike and sporting goods sale this past weekend was a smashing success!  We had perfect weather and amazing turnout by volunteers, sellers, and buyers!  What a great combination all around.  Come to this week's troop meeting to hear just how good it was!  Thank you to everyone who worked to make the sale a success but special thanks to Jacki Dibble and Jeff Chasse who co-chaired the event and did an amazing amount of work to make the sale a reality.
