Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to?  or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

 
Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting!  Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.
 
We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session.  Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road.  Feel free to contact us at info@westfordtroop437.us and let us know you are coming or to contact us with any questions.  For more information about the troop, you can start at our About Us webpage.

Crotched Mountain Ski Trip March 2nd - Signups due this week.

The March trip for Troop 437 is skiing or snowboarding at Crotched Mountain in Bennington NH. Please see their website http://www.crotchedmountain.com for more details. Crotched Mountain has 25 Trails and 5 lifts and two terrain parks. Trip price based on options selected. Since this will only be a day trip, all family members are welcome to attend and take advantage of the group rates!

We will be meeting outside the main base lodge at 8:30 AM. If you are renting, please be prompt.

Seabase participant meeting Thursday at 6:30pm

We will be holding a meeting for the scouts and parents at 6:30pm this Thursday before the troop meeting.  Scouts going to Seabase and at least one parent should plan on attending.  Please arrive on time as we have a lot of material to cover before the start of the Troop meeting at 7:00pm.
 
This meeting will be for the following:
  • Collect the next Seabase payment of $400 - please bring a check to the meeting
  • Review travel itinerary
  • Review and distribute required paperwork
  • What and how to pack for trip

D.A.R.E. Program presentation at February 28th Troop meeting - fulfills second class requirement 9a

At the February 28th Troop meeting we will be hosting a representative from the Town to present a Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco awareness program.  This will fulfill the Second Class rank requirement 9a which many scouts need.

Ski trip details coming soon

Our March trip, scheduled for March 2nd and 3rd, is a troop ski trip.  Our expectations is that this trip will be appropriate for experienced skiers and novices alike.  We hope to hold this trip at Crotchet Mountain but do not have all the details complete yet.  Keep an eye out for e-mail later this week with the sign up information once it is available

Winter Freeze out canceled

As you all know the winter freeze out was canceled due to too much snow - how ironic.  Unfortunately due to the timing of school vacation, our March ski trip, and merit badge college leaves us no real opportunity to reschedule.  Everyone who signed up will have the trip fees credited to their scout accounts.
