Raking Leaves - Scout service project reminder

Posted on Nov 6 2012 - 10:13pm

Hello Fellow Scouts!
This is Austin Xu. I have contacted the Senior Center in Westford and they have said that they would like some help to rake leaves in some Senior's yards. This would be a great opportunity for service hours. The event will be on the 10th, which is a Saturday, from 9-12, at 6 Country Rd. near WA. We will be raking Mr. Bob France's yard. He will be able to supply tarps and bags for the leaves, but we still need to bring our own rakes. I will put a sign up sheet at the back of the table during the next troop meeting for anyone who wishes to sign up for this event. See you at the troop meeting!

Sincerely,
Austin

Please return all troop equipment to Legion this Thursday

Posted on Nov 6 2012 - 8:20pm

We need all troop equipment to be returned to the Legion this Thursday.  Please return all equipment from last weekend's hiking trip.  Also, we are still missing a few key items that were not returned from the last camping trip in the spring - notably a large cast iron griddle in a black canvas bag and a folding table in tan canvas bags.  Please double check you garages, basements, and trunks for these items.
