Reminder that the patrols have the following assignments for the Court of Honor:

• Pineapples and Flaming Eagle patrols: Food for refreshments
• Buffalo and Phoenix patrols: Drinks
• All scouts: setup and cleanup

If you have not yet signed up for the October trip please bring your signed permission form and payment to the Court of Honor

The details for the October trip are now available. It has been changed from a full backpacking trip to a day hike with backpacking skills development. The troop will be camping at Camp Wanocksett and hiking Mt Monadnock. On the hike Scouts should plan on carrying a daypack with essential hiking supplies: rain gear, spare clothing, 2 liters of water, compass, map, lunch (provided by patrol), snacks, knife, flashlight, whistle, and first aid kit. For the meals the scouts will be doing backpack style cooking on lightweight stoves.

The signup sheet can be found here - please print it out and return it to this week's troop meeting. The scouts will be doing meal planning this week and it will be important to know who will be attending.

Given the distance to our White Water rafting destination this weekend, car pooling is highly encouraged.  To help facilitate this there will be a ride-sharing board at this week's troop meeting.  If you are planning on driving and have space available please list it on the board.  If you are in need of a ride also please list that on the board - by the end of the meeting hopefully the riders and drivers can be connected.

We are one weeks away from the fall board of review night.  The board of review night is your last chance to have a board for a new rank for the Fall Court of Honor.  If you are ready for a Scoutmaster conference (needed before the board of review) please talk to the Scoutmaster at the troop meeting.

Our trip to Seabase in Florida is less then a year away.  We need to start making travel arrangements in the near future.  If you have any experience with group air travel and woul dbe willing to help please let the Scoutmaster know.

Chrissy Hemmingway has once again volunteered to coordinate the Fall Cookie Dough fundraiser, however she would like an assistant to help her with the event.  If you can help out with this please contact Chrissy or the Scoutmaster.
