There will be a parents meeting during this week's troop meeting.  Parents of new scouts should plan on attending.  Other parents who would like to come are also welcome.

EMS is having their semi-yearly Club Day sale this Friday and Saturday (April 8th and 9th).  Boy Scouts get 25% off all EMS branded items and 20% off everything else.  This is valid at all EMS locations (Acton, Nashua, and Marlboro are our nearest stores).   More information can be found on the EMS web site.

One of the biggest developments in Boy Scouting is underway...the creation of a fourth high adventure base!  It is the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia.  Check out what is developing at the SBR Overview.  Summit will be hosting the 2013 National Jamboree...a mear 12 hour drive away!

The highest rank of Boy Scouts isn't named "Eagle" by chance.  The Eagle is a wonderful icon of our country and and example of nature's wonder.  Thanks to the internet we have a chance to view a family of Eagles in their natural setting via this webcam.  However - Beware!  Watching this webcam easily becomes adictive!

If you have troop equipment from last weekend's campout (or earlier) please bring it, cleaned, to this weeks troop meeting.  It is important that equipment be returned in a timely fashion so it can be inspected and prepared for the next trip.
