Just a reminder that there will not be any troop meeting during the Winter school vacation.

If you have equipment from this weekend's Camp Resolute campout please retutn it to the troop at the week's meeting.  If you have any cooking gear please ensure it is washed prior to return.

While we will have the option of staying in a cabin this weekend some scouts may opt to sleep out in tents.  Either way it is important to prepare for camping in colder weather.  Please see our Cold Weather Camping page for some basic information on preparing for camping in colder weather.

We will still be accepting signups for this weekend's campout at this week's troop meeting.  Please turn in any final signups, along with payment, at the beginning of the troop meeting.  More details can be found here.

The February trip for Troop 437 is sledding and other winter outdoor fun at Camp Resolute in Bolton, MA. We will be winter camping outdoors with the Rifle Range cabin available in the event of extreme temperatures, campers without adequate gear, and/or less adventurous campers. The cabin has electricity and a wood stove.

Dear Scouting Parents,

Since we did not sell enough cookie dough or coffee to meet our projected expenses this year, we are looking for another way to bring in money to the troop.  We are hoping to come up with a fundraising opportunity that does *not* require the boys to do door-to-door selling.  WE NEED HELP! We will be getting together to brainstorm during the regularly scheduled Boy Scout meetings and could use as many ideas as possible.
