Just a reminder that the Webelos fall invitational is scheduled for Sunday afternoon November 14th.  This event kicks off our yearly recruiting program and is important for the troop.  We need scouts to attend to run the event and adult leaders to be available to answer questions from perspective scout parents.

The troop committee has put together a budget showing what expenses the troop incurs during the scout year along with how those expenses are paid through dues and fundraising.  The budget is available at 2010 - 2011 Troop Budget.  If you have any questions about the budget please contact the Scoutmaster or Treasurer.

Due to limitations in availability of the accommodations for the New York city trip we have had to move the trip one week earlier.  It is now scheduled for November 5th, 6th, and 7th.  Information and permission slips will be distributed at the October 14th troop meeting.

This week the scouts will be brainstorming on what to do in New York City during the Troops trip there in November.  Parents and scouts should come prepared to share their ideas with the troop.  The scouts will vote on their top choices and the trip planners will then try to fit as many as possible into the trip's itinerary.
