This is a reminder that Cindy Edwards will be conducting merit badge training at the Legion on Thursday evening during our regular Boy Scout meeting at 7:00pm. If you even remotely think you might want to run a merit badge some time in the next year or two, please consider attending. Taking the training does not commit you to running a badge. But NOT taking the training does keep you from running a badge. It can't hurt to do the training.

Please bring 2 copies of your driver's license and take a look at meritbadge.com to see what merit badges you could possibly do. You also need to take the Youth Protection training online. If you have done none of the above and still feel like you would like to sit in on the training, come on down! We can take care of the other details later on.

Did you know there was a camping gear store in Littleton MA right next to Donelans supermarket?  It is the Happy Trailz Outfitters.  While they are not a large store they do carry a good selection of camping gear, footwear, and clothing.  They are currently running a store-wide 20% off all camping gear - not sure how long this sale will last.  They do offer 10% off to Boy Scouts who show their BSA membership card.

Attached is the equipment rental rates for Eastern Mountain Sports.   They rent backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, and more.  Equipment should be reserved in advance.  REI in North Reading also has a rental program.

Eastern Mountain Sports is having one of their club sales this weekend. This means that members of the boys scouts can get 25% off on EMS brand items and 20% off everything else.
