LAst week the Troop completed some of the requirements for the Cyber Chip during the meeting. If you have completed the remaining requirements at home please see the Scoutmaster to get the card.
Here are links to the requirements and material for scouts in grades 6-8 and scouts in grades 9-12. For grades 6-8 requirements 4 and 5 will be covered in the troop meetings. For grades 9-12 requirements 5 and 6 will be covered in the meeting. If a scout wants to complete the Cyber Chip they should complete the other requirements at home. If you have any questions please talk to the Scoutmaster.
Mr. Carpenter will be starting Emergency Preparedness merit badge sessions soon. Please contact Mr. Carpenter if you are interested in earning the badge.
Emergency Preparedness is an Eagle required merit badge as an alternative to Lifesaving.
This year we are going to combine our Sprign Court of Honor with a Troop BBQ. The combined event will be held on Friday June 16th at the American Legion post. Please mark your calendars and come help us celebrate the end of another great year of scouting for Troop 437! More news will be published soon about the start time of the event and other details.
There will not be any Troop meeting on Thursday June 15th.
This week's troop meeting will be our annual End-of-Year bonfire. This is held in the lower field behind the Legion building. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing, footwear, and bring a flashlight. Hot chocolate will be served so be sure to bring your camp mug. There are sure to be lots of games.
